There are hundreds of website that list dog breeders but almost all of them do not endorse the breeders on their list.** It is the buyers responsibility to determine the reputation of a breeder.
That is what this website is for. We feel that the best recommendation you can get concerning a dog breeder is from other dog breeders.
Every dog breeder on our lists has been recommended by at least one other dog breeder. The breeder that made the recommendation is saying that they would buy a puppy from them and they are putting their reputation on the line when they make a recommendation.

Breeders.net disclaimer says, "Important: breeders.net has not screened the listed breeders and accepts no responsibility for their reputation or quality. It is your responsibility to investigate."
The National Beagle Club of America, a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC) says, "The following people are all NBC members or Supporting members and have requested that their names and information be listed here. This does not in any way reflect the NBC guarantee or endorsement of their dogs, their kennel or their business practices."
AKC's website says, "While the AKC does not endorse or recommend specific breeders, we do offer several resources to locate breeders" AND "AKC is not affiliated with and does not license or endorse any breeders, including those listed on this site."
In most cases, the breeder has paid a fee to be listed on the website.

The only way a breeder can be listed on this website is to be recommended by a breeder that is already on the list.
